Wild Child Fibers is a one-woman operation. Christa works from her home studio in south central PA, creating small batch and one-of-a-kind textile, freeform crochet, and hand knit apparel, accessories, and textile home goods. All botanical dyes are locally foraged by Christa, who then hand dyes all of the fabric and select yarn.. All fabric and yarn are locally sourced, thrifted, recycled, and/or donated. Wild Child Fibers is a low waste business. Every bit of fabric, yarn, and thread are used. Fabric scraps are used in patchwork designs, and the smallest pieces of fabric, yarn, and thread are used as stuffing for pilllow inserts. Each piece is made with the utmost love, care, and attention to detail.
