11/1/2022 0 Comments Day one off of instagram Well, today is my first official day off of instagram. Last night I deleted the app before I went to sleep, and that's that for the month of November. When December 1st rolls around I'll see how I feel.
I stopped posting/logging into Facebook over ten years ago, so I am officially unplugged from social media. My Facebook account was mostly personal, and my instagram account is mostly business; so in a way, this felt like a much bigger leap. Aside from word-of-mouth, (the best form of advertising imo), instagram was the only way I was able to get the word out about what was happening with wild child fibers. I'm going to use this time away to create as much as possible, be present in the moment, and work on ways to connect with my customers without the use of social media platforms. How do I plan to do this? 1. This blog 2. Possibly a newsletter 3. A Ko-Fi page Well, that's what I have so far. What am I making on right now? I made myself a warm pair of pants out of sweatshirts and a fleece that my son grew out of. I'm happy with the results, and they'll definitely be warm. And, I'm also working on a crochet cardigan and some new tops, jackets, and vests for the web shop and My Aunt Debbie. Thanks for following along, Christa
