This collection is created from found and/or discarded as a reflection of our messy and chaotic humanity. There is value in the discarded, and we should elevate what we often deem unremarkable. The idea that jewelry can only be made from precious metals and gemstones is constructed. Why can’t anything be a jewel?
*All recycled and reused materials are sterilized and thoroughly cleaned.
This necklace was made from handmade (by me) fabric yarn, a broken zipper pull, a charm from a broken necklace, a spring, charm from an ear bud
case that was too small and discarded, donated beads, and a chain from a broken bracelet.
