All of my fabric and yarn are either donated directly to me by my local community or thrifted. Outside of this, the only purchases I make for my business are thread, equipment, and the costs for my website and shows. Since we live in a society where prices are constantly on the rise, and handmade goods are often inaccessible to most (including me, that's why I'm grateful that I can make my own clothes), I recently made a decision. I am going to give folks the option to make me a reasonable offer on any clothing or accessory that I sell online and at shows.
How does that work?
1. I will provide the amount of hours it took to complete each item either in the listing online or on the tag at shows.
2. You will use that information to make an informed decision on your reasonable offer.
3. Additional shipping fees will be applied to all international orders.
How do I make an offer?
If you’re purchasing online message me your offer along with a screen shot(s) of what you would like. I will then list the item(s) with the agreed upon pricing as reserved for you. If you’re purchasing at a show we can just talk irl. Don't be shy, I'm nice.
The approximation of the time it took to make each piece only refers to the construction; not fabric and/or yarn selection, blocking, steaming, laundering, tagging, thread trimming, weaving in ends, painting, etc.
I think this is a good idea and I hope that you do to.

Christa
